Departure day arrives!

Chawton House, the home of early English women's writing and my destination for July. The story of the reconstruction of the house and creation of Chawton House Library is an interesting read (at www.chawton.org). Soon the photos you will see of CHL will be those I have taken myself!

A tapestry on a library wall - what's not to like?

Before venturing to CHL I've got cousins to reconnect with (so looking forward to meeting them) and the British Sociological Association Food Studies Group meeting to attend in London.  Stay tuned!
